Owner, Groomer, Mastermind, Dreamer- Ashley leads many roles around the salon. Most importantly she strives to cultivate a premium grooming experience for your pets through experience, continued education, staff support, compassion, team work and dedication. Ashley carries over twenty-eight years of experience; grooming, veterinary, & show. Ashley is our resident cat groomer, trainer, handstripper, and poodle guru. A dog nerd from the beginning. Royal Pets Grooming Spa was born and thrives on faith and her passion to create a salon where the client feels connected and valued.

Lucia began her career in 2016; promoted through various roles in the salon from assistant to Senior Groomer. Lucia values the relationship she builds with each pet as well as their families. Her talents are matched with ever evolving skills as she dedicates time to continuing her education. Lucia, aka Chia, enjoys a good deshed almost as much as she enjoys a spaniel groom. She’s great with the oldies and goodies and prefers to snuggle puppies all day. Lucia is quick to offer help with any task at hand but also quick to request help when needed. As humble as she is talented, Lucia is great at resolving issues that may arise and ensuring our clients and their pets have the best experience possible.

A natural born doodle extraordinaire; Jonathan has been grooming with Royal Pets since 2016. Passionate about his trade, Jonathan has studied techniques, breeds, and trends. Spending months on a show circuit developing hand stripping techniques and time in the contest ring -he continues to surpass his goals in the grooming industry. Jonathan is talented with plush coats, terriers, difficult dogs, and the big breeds. He even keeps a few small dogs on his books to keep his little dog skills as sharp as his tools. Jonathan loves to teach and share tried and true techniques with aspiring groomers. He also really likes Chickens.

Joining our team in 2022, Kelsey brought with her an expansive skillset in handscissoring, puppy handling, senior pet care, and an overall ability to execute any pet groom with grace, ease, and a little humor. Kelsey has the ability to make any hair cut look good while still mastering breed trims and breed knowledge. Kelsey takes critiques like a champ and applies that knowledge to each of her grooms. She loves her clients as her own, both the pet and the owner! Kelsey is always trying to find ways to up her grooms to the next level and is quick to toss around a creative idea. She is the definition of an artist and grooming is her art.

Arriving with basic experience in 2023, Kayt has been assisting our salon groomers with a variety of daily tasks as she cultivates her own grooming skillset. Kayt is currently a level one groomer, providing basic grooms and maintenance visits but she is slowly incorporating technical grooms. Kayt is also a familiar face in the front as she connects with our clients during receptionist shifts. A creative mind and dedicated spirit who loves to organize and orchestrate. Kayt has a fresh outlook on grooms and ideas and really takes the salon vision to the next level. We are excited about her growth and look forward to her promising career as a professional groomer.

The queen of little dog faces and scissoring literally everything. Chantelle is our “quiet as a mouse” groomer who loves nothing more than hand scissoring every tiny creature she can get on her table. Chantelle joined our salon in 2019 and has been making quite the impression ever since. She’s our go to “How does this face look?” answering service and always willing to help out with puppies, cats, seniors, or spicy pups. The bond she forms with her pups and clients is truly a testament of her passion for her career.

Leslie joined our salon in 2024 with over twenty years of pet grooming experience. She’s quick to learn new tricks, but her years of experience shine through each of her grooms. Leslie is a do-it-all groomer - great at hand scissoring while proficient at a shave down and basically everything in-between. Leslie has a knack for chatting with owners and really understanding their needs and meeting their expectations. Leslie prefers the medium and smaller dogs but will take on a big dog groom when needed as well. Leslie is as patient as she is talented and works with exceptional compassion and care with senior pups.

Rebecca joined the salon in 2025 with an extensive background in pet grooming. Little did we realize she is passionate about her grooms and versatile in talent. She can execute an adorable plush puppy hair cut followed up with a meticulous de-shed and then a spicy little bath pup. She’s always willing to dive into a challenge and receptive to critical feedback as she is always aiming to improve her skill. We look forward to watching her career continue to bloom.

This chick does it all, from reception, to bathing, to lunch runs, to deep cleaning, to big dog baths, to little dog snuggles, to staying late and arriving early! Carlee is all around the go-to for every need and has been since 2022! She’s passionate about the pets in our care and values our mission. She has become a familiar face around the salon and is appreciated beyond measure.

Madi is the fresh face and voice most clients encounter upon arrival or calling in! She’s always facing challenges with the most upbeat attitude and ready to dish out “You’re doing great!” to every soul that needs it! Her main job is to keep everyone organized and dote on your pets - so basically, she’s livin’ the dream! Madi’s artistic ability, vision, passion and drive are a small example of what she brings to the salon every day!

Queen Elizabeth, also affectionately known as Liz really calls the shots around here. She has her own fan club and can typically be found laying around judging everyone else. She accepts chin and head rubs and the occassional brave soul is allowed to give her belly a rub. Liz found her way to us by sheer fate alone and never looked back. We are all honored and humbled to be in her presence every day - and you can be too!
